Living After Exoneration: Exoneree Perspectives On What Would Help

Location: Nautilus 5
Date: Sat, March 25
Time: 1:45 PM - 3:00 PM

In this roundtable/listening session, exonerees will be given a chance to speak briefly about their post-release experiences, with an emphasis on the help they were promised (and what they actually got), what was helpful (and what wasn't),  and what would have been helpful (both immediately after release and years later). The goal will be to identify priority areas for compensation law reform and for non-profit organizations assisting with exoneree re-entry. After a brief introduction, the moderators will ensure that as much time as possible is devoted to hearing from the exonerees in attendance.
