Making the Best Use of Students and Technology in Innocence Work

Location: Nautilus 3
Date: Fri, March 24
Time: 4:15 PM - 5:30 PM

This panel features five experienced teachers in the Network who will discuss how to harness the fresh energy and perspective of students (both undergraduate and law students) in a variety of clinical settings. The student work that Network members rely on can be harnessed in a variety of ways that will benefit our clients, our policy work, our programming and the students themselves. Topics will include: how to select, train and motivate students; how to use undergraduate students alongside law students in a law clinic program; how students can use common office technology to organize case files; and how students can engage in policy work in a clinical setting.
