Adina Thompson

Adina Thompson is the intake coordinator at the Innocence Project of Florida (IPF), which serves wrongfully convicted individuals throughout the state. To handle the large volume of requests for assistance that IPF receives, Adina created a triage system which prioritizes 1980’s and 1990’s sexual offense and homicide cases, cases with timely Ineffective Assistance of Council (IAC), Brady and Giglio claims, and cases that deal with bite mark evidence, hair comparison evidence, arson or shaken-baby syndrome. Adina graduated from the University of Florida in 2014 with a doctorate in criminology, law and society. In addition to her position at IPF, Adina is an adjunct professor at Arkansas State University.
