Amshula Jayaram

Amshula Jayaram is a state policy advocate for the Innocence Project. Previously, Ms. Jayaram worked in the Washington Legislative Office of the American Civil Liberties Union, building policy campaigns to pass legislation on a variety of national security, human rights and criminal justice issues, including racial profiling and the use of drones. She has also worked as a fellow with the Leadership Conference on Civil and Human Rights to promote better policies, education and awareness on critical issues of social justice. In addition, Ms. Jayaram spent a number of a years coordinating the pro bono efforts of private sector law firms.
