Caitlin Plummer

Caitlin Plummer litigated many innocence cases based on shifts in forensic science during her time as a clinical instructor at the Wisconsin Innocence Project and later, as a staff attorney at the Michigan Innocence Clinic. She is now an appellate public defender in California and still serves as the Michigan Innocence Clinic's consultant for Shaken Baby Syndrome cases. Ms. Plummer has also published several articles focusing on shifts in forensic science and the emerging litigation approaches that have led to exonerations in several challenging shifted-science cases in recent years.
