Cornelius Dupree

Cornelius Dupree was wrongfully incarcerated in Texas for 31 years for a rape and robbery he had nothing to do with. He was released in 2010 after serving his full sentence, then fully exonerated in 2011 after DNA proved his innocence. Since he was released he has attended nearly every conference and has testified in front of the Texas legislature numerous times. He also mentors newer exonerees and young offenders in juvenile justice facilities in Houston, where he lives with his wife, Selma.
