Cristina Borde is an attorney at the Wisconsin Innocence Project. Ms. Borde graduated from Harvard Law School in 1995. She then served as a staff attorney at the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals for 3 1/2 years. Subsequently, she represented death row inmates in state and federal post-conviction proceedings for 14 years at the Habeas Corpus Resource Center in San Francisco, California. Ms. Borde has also consulted for the Mexican Capital Legal Assistance Program, which provides assistance to counsel representing Mexican nationals on death row throughout the United States. Ms. Borde is a native Spanish speaker who grew up in Colombia.
