Erin Morris is a behavorial sciences research analyst with the LA County Office of the Public Defender. She she provides support to attorneys in capital and non-capital cases in areas such as eyewitness memory, neuropathology, canine scent detection, and other associated forensic matters. She is a member of the Human Factors Committee of the NIST-DOJ Organization of Scientific Area Committees (OSAC), where she provides guidance throughout OSAC on human performance, cognitive bias and mitigating errors in complex tasks. Morris has a Ph.D. Psychology and Social Behavior.
