Lindsey Herf

Lindsay Herf focuses on litigating post-conviction innocence cases and studying the causes of wrongful convictions.  Lindsay came to the Arizona Justice Project (AJP) upon graduating from law school in 2008 where she managed and litigated AJP's DNA cases for five years.  During that time, AJP achieved its first DNA exoneration.  Lindsay then left for a two-year stint in Washington D.C. to work on the national FBI Hair Microscopy Review program with partners from the Innocence Project, the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, the FBI Crime Lab and the U.S. Department of Justice.  Lindsay spent one year as a clinical fellow at the Wrongful Convictions Clinic at the Univeristy of Arizona before returning to AJP as the executive director
