Miranda Heimstreet is a third year law student at the University of Wisconsin Law School. She has worked for the Wisconsin Innocence Project for the past year and a half, initially as an intern and currently as an intake assistant. Last year she also interned for the Wisconsin Supreme Court. She completed her Bachelor of Science degree with honors at the University of Wisconsin- La Crosse while majoring in political science and minoring in public administration. As an undergraduate, she spent a semester interning for the State Public Defender's Office in La Crosse. Miranda has greatly enjoyed her time serving as an advocate for the wrongfully convicted and working with like-minded people.
